How do I know if a physiotherapist is fully qualified?

Your Surrey Physiotherapist is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). If necessary, we can provide their registration numbers, allowing you to verify their credentials on the HCPC website for added assurance.

What methods of payment do we accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major debit/credit cards. We do require payment prior to your appointment to confirm the booking. We can take payment over the phone, bank transfer (BACS), with a secure payment link, or in-person via card reader.

How can I arrange for my insurance to cover physiotherapy?

Your Surrey Physio does not currently accept payment through insurance companies. Apologies, we're working on it!

How long is my appointment?

Your initial consultation (full assessment) will take approximately 60 minutes and includes assessment and treatment. Based on this session, you can decide with your physiotherapist, whether you would benefit from future treatment appointments lasting 45 or 60 minutes.

What paperwork do I need for my full assessment?

Any relevant information about your condition will help your physiotherapist make an informed assessment. If possible, please provide them with as much information as you can, such as x-ray or scan reports, discharge letters and correspondence from other health and care professionals.

Your Surrey Physio maintains strong connections with GPs, consultants, and various healthcare specialists within the NHS. If necessary, your physiotherapist can facilitate a referral to the appropriate professional who can provide expert insights that align with your needs. Rest assured, our commitment is to facilitate the most effective treatment options for your recovery journey.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

Kindly notify us of any cancellations at your earliest convenience so that we can accommodate other patients in need. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a charge.
